Sales Lead Generation Specialist

We currently have an opening for a Sales Lead Generation Specialist on our Sales Support Team.  The Lead Generation Specialist will drive new business prospecting efforts, hold sales executives accountable to follow up, and meet quarterly new business goals. This position is primarily responsible for pro-actively finding government initiatives/budgets/RFP’s, generating prospecting lists from key categories, and sourcing competitive media leads.  This position will work closely with Sales and Sales Support to ensure that all leads are being followed up on in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identify leads in all sales territories for priority verticals, assign to sales, and track follow-up.

  • Manage the government portal software for all qualified RFP’s.

  • Identify upcoming government budgets and initiatives.

  • Source competitive media leads through online newspapers, TV/Radio websites, and news articles across the country.

  • Use Google, LinkedIn, Winmo and other platforms to find new prospects.

  • Field all advertisement inquiry calls.

  • Manage distribution of all leads and establish process and deadlines with sales to follow up.

  • Assist Director of Operations in distribution of all incoming leads.

  • Manage the distribution and follow up process for all new business email blasts.

  • Develop and maintain processes in Salesforce for tracking all leads and measuring success.

  • Align efforts with the marketing team to ensure we have updated collateral and content for prospects.

  • Hold self-accountable to meeting and exceeding quarterly new business goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Media experience a PLUS.

  • Salesforce or other CRM experience a PLUS.

  • Proficiency in MS programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Excellent communications skills.
